Anna-Lena Krause is a Berlin-born, London-based photographer and art director working across fine art, editorial, and commercial contexts. The formal qualities of her work reflect her parallel practice as a sculptor and performance artist, where her research in psychology and behavioural science informs a deeply intimate and playful approach to image-making.
Her language is distinguished by a sense of romanticism and an ongoing dialogue between herself, her subjects, and her collaborators — exploring the bonds that connect people in the modern world. Alongside editorial and brand collaborations with Burberry, Gucci × Numéro Berlin, and Boyy, her work has been exhibited internationally at venues including Saatchi Gallery, Somerset House, C/O Berlin, and KUMU Art Museum.
